Four ways toqualify

Choose the investment option that fits your goals — each with a defined minimum commitment and holding period.

Enterprise Investment

Minimum investment in an Irish enterprise for at least three years.

€1M

Investment Fund

Minimum investment in an approved fund for at least three years. Funds must be approved and regulated by the Central Bank.

€2M

Real Estate Investment Trusts

Minimum investment in any Irish REIT listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, for at least three years.

€500K

Endowment

Philanthropic donation to a project of public benefit in the arts, sports, health, culture or education in Ireland. €400,000 where five or more applications are received together.

Lodge the full application package with Ireland’s Department of Justice for assessment.

Application cost

You must pay by electronic fund transfer. This fee is non-refundable. Applications will not be processed until the fee has been paid in full.

FAMILY

Bring your loved ones

Yes — you can include your spouse or partner, children under 18, and children aged 18–24 if they are unmarried, in full-time education, and financially fully dependent on you.
